5/7/2008: The Bureau of Economic Analysis announced estimates of compensation of employees and wage and salary accruals were corrected for the first quarter of 2008.� The correction updates line 8 (compensation of employees) and line 9 (wage and salary accruals) in table 9.� These corrections do not affect published estimates of gross domestic product, wage and salary disbursements, compensation of employees received, personal income, gross domestic income, or national income.� (Note that estimates of gross domestic income and national income for the first quarter of 2008 are not available until the release of preliminary GDP estimates on May 29, 2008.)
