[STAT-USA Products and Services] 03/15/2006: STAT-USA introduces the State of the Nation Archive! The Archive contains over 18,000 files and it's growing! These are prior versions of America's Top 50 Releases. See STAT*News for more information. 12/28/2005: STAT-USA introduces the STAT*News system. This allows anyone, including subscribers, non-subscribers, and regular users, to make sure they're kept posted about the newest developments on the STAT-USA web sites! Nov 2005: The 2004/2005 edition of the Statistical Abstract on CD-ROM is now available. You can order it online here! 09/13/2005: Effective October 1, 2005, STAT-USA will increase the cost of an annual single designated user (SDU) account from $175.00 per year to $200.00. This nominal price increase is the first since 2000. The quarterly subscription price remains unchanged at $75.00 for a three-month subscription. July 2005: The ability to search by date has been added to the site search. In addition, fuzzy/stem searching is now optional. Fuzzy searching took care of misspellings and meant that putting in "polyeseter" would retrieve "polyester". Stem searching meant that putting in "automobile" would retrieve "automotive". April 2004: STAT-USA has been implementing a number of changes on the STAT-USA site which we hope you'll like. Pages are being streamlined, navigators are being reworked, things are being cleaned up. March 2004: Database categories can now be searched using the standard site search. November 2003: Phrase searching using the standard site search page has been added. So you can search for "(China or Taiwan)". September 2003: Site searching has been implemented on the site. 02/27/2003: A complete listing of the Foreign Trade Offices around the world are now available! In the future, they will be available below in the Special Publications section on the GLOBUS & NTDB page.. 12/19/2003: Digital Economy 2003, the Department of Commerce's annual report on the information technology revolution is now available. |
