I am a Syndication customer. What will happen to my service?

I just bought/renewed a subscription to STAT-USA/Internet. Now what?


What will happen to STAT-USA/Internet?

STAT-USA/Internet will no longer be available after September 30, 2010. To assist our customers in locating the data that STAT-USA/Internet has provided, we have created a STAT-USA/Internet Transition page with links to the data sources. You should explore these links for your favorite data series and bookmark them for use after September 30, 2010.


What will happen to USA Trade Online?

USA Trade Online will continue uninterrupted. It will be managed by the Census Bureau’s Foreign Trade Division, the official source of the merchandise trade data. All customer accounts will be handled directly through that agency. Customers will receive a welcome letter shortly after October 1, providing information on subscription and service updates.


I am a Syndication customer. What will happen to my service?

You will receive your files as usual through September 30, 2010. A pro-rated refund will be issued for the remaining period of your subscription term.


I just bought/renewed a subscription to STAT-USA/Internet. Now what?

If your STAT-USA/Internet subscription expires after September 30, you may be entitled to a refund. If you paid by check, call 1-800-STAT-USA or email statmail@doc.gov for assistance. If we received your check after July 12, it will be returned to you. If we received your check before July 12, we may need to get some additional information in order to issue your pro-rated refund. Call 1-800-STAT-USA or email statmail@doc.gov for assistance. If you paid by credit card, you will be issued a pro-rated refund to the same account used for the purchase. If the credit card is no longer valid, call 1-800-STAT-USA or email
statmail@doc.gov for assistance. The website will continue to be available and supported through September 30, 2010.
