The following notice refers to goods, works, or consultancy services to be procured through Tendering for open and competitive projects financed by the Ignalina International Decommissioning Support Fund which is administered by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). Potential tenderers desiring additional information on the procurement in question or the project in general should contact the Decommissioning Project Management Unit (DPMU) and not the EBRD. Republic of Lithuania State Enterprise Ignalina Nuclear Power Plant Ignalina Decommissioning Support Projects The State Enterprise Ignalina Nuclear Power Plant (INPP) is undertaking a programme of decommissioning projects. The Ignalina International Decommissioning Support Fund (IIDSF), administered by the European Bank for Development and Reconstruction (EBRD), was established in 2001 for a period of approximately 10 years to grant finance and/or co-finance selected decommissioning projects and measures in the energy sector which are consequential to the final shutdown of INPP. Approval of the project financing is subject to the decision of the Assembly of Contributors of the IIDSF. The contents of the projects may be modified by the Assembly. INPP intends to use proceeds from the IIDSF for the procurement of the following services, works and goods in an environmentally safe and cost effective manner.
Tendering for Contracts for the above-mentioned services, works and goods is expected to begin in the second half of 2005. Tendering will be open to firms that qualify under the Procurement Policies and Rules of the EBRD and the IIDSF. * Interested suppliers, contractors and consultants should contact:
